Photos
The photo-to-pattern converter, DMC colour finder and everything else that reads an image does its work inside your browser. Images are never uploaded to us.
Designs saved in your browser
The grid editor saves your current chart in your browser’s local storage so it’s still there when you come back. It never leaves your device, and there are no accounts. You can remove it here:
AI features
Two optional features use AI through Vercel AI Gateway: “describe a motif” sends the words you type to an image model, and the stitching help desk sends your question to a text model. Nothing else is sent — no photos, no designs. Requests are rate-limited per IP address to prevent abuse; we don’t store your prompts.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and see which pages are useful. It doesn’t use cookies or build profiles of individual visitors.
