Stitching notes
- Stitch the red body first, then drop the yellow seeds in; they sit on top of nothing so there is no need to count around them.
- Backstitch around the leaves in DMC 986 if you want a crisper edge.
Use two strands on 14-count Aida and one or two on 18-count. Find the centre of your fabric by folding it in quarters and start from the centre of the chart; the bold lines are every ten stitches.
